Approx. 4 m of snow are falling on average in Lapland in the winter. It is obvious that winter s port is the top one on the list of possible activities. Whether you want to make a snowmobile-safari or a tour with the dog-sledge through the virgin nature, whether you want to go alpine skiing (in Arvidsjaur and Arjeplog) partly under flood light or cross-country skiing, whether you want to go ice fishing, snowshoeing, swimming in the indoor baths in Arvidsjaur, sightseeing or driving on ice in our courses (available from Winter 2014/2015), everyone will find the matching and appropriate activity.
It feels absolutely satisfying to sit at the fireplace after an interesting and adventurous day full of excitement and talk about it with your family or friends. Or enjoying the wood fired sauna and the “Hot-Tub” together will be an unforgettable experience too. What else can be expected after such an eventful day ? Maybe complete this day by settle back in our little cozy restaurant trinking and eating in a comfortable ambience.
Or simply experience the silence when nothing is heart but the wind and the creak of the snow.
Snowmobile safaris
For most of the winter guests it is the greatest to go on a snowmobile tour. In small groups through the snow-covered winter landscape of swedish Lapland off the light traffic areas around Arvidsjaur or Arjeplog you will experience driving a snowmobile in its original form. Formerly used only as transportation vehicle for difficult terrain, you will now enjoy agreed safaris in small groups into the off where you will see more elks than people.
We will offer tours in different levels of intensity, from simple tours (only a few hours) over special tours for groups of women and/or elderly people to several days tours, a real countryside tour, which will demand a great deal of every participant.
Please understand that we can’t list all offered tours due to the big multiplicity of combinations. Gladly we would like to arrange a program for you accoring to your wishes, if required including the flights.
The prices for the safaris start from 800,- SEK per hour (min. 2 hours) or for the several days tours starting at 3900,- SEK.
Included are the costs for the snowmobile for one participant, fuel, (the retained amount of the insurance is 15000,- SEK per vehicle), coldness proved overall, boots, gloves and helmet. Hourly tours include lunch and FIKA. Serveral days trips also include breakfast and dinner. Depending on the tour the sleepovers could take place in simple wilderness cabins!
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing through the deep, untouched powder snow, only hearing the sound of your own breathing, the creak of the snow and the wind?
Maybe at polar night? With a bit of luck with polar lights? Afterwards warm drinks, coffee, tea or Glöck (swedish hot spice wine punch)?

Snowshoes can be rented for 200,- SEK per day. Guided tours (approx. 2 hours) 450,- SEK per person.
Icefishing
One of the national sports in Sweden. Try your fishing luck at one of your own, self-drilled holes in the ice. In our lakes rich of fish you can go for Perch, Pike and some more fish species. Relax. Afterwards a hot coffee to warm-up.
2 Hours icefishing, incl. fishing rod and after-fishing coffee for 450,- SEK.
Cross-country skiing
Enjoy our incomparable nature. Untouched snowfields as far as the eye can see will give you the possibilty of an unforgettable experience on cross-country ski. Whether only for a few hours, a whole day or on a several days tours, here you will find the right place for this adventure. Gladly we would like to arrange accomodation e.g. at Reivo Park if you are going on a longer, several days tour. Cross-country ski can be rented at e.g. the sport outfitters in Arvidsjaur.
Driving on ice
On our ice track you will find an amusement of a special kind. Test, train and improve your car driving skills without the normal risks of the street traffic. You can use your own car but you can also drive with one of our little and sturdy “iceflea”s which do not take amiss when you accidently leave the track. On demand you can start with them in a challenge/race against other drivers.
Please be explicit reminded that this is NOT a conventional safe driving training. It is only a possibility for you to experience your own driving skills in funny way.
For 990,- SEK per hour (min. booking 2 hours, incl. briefing) the parcours is available for you and your car/s. A service vehicle to pull you free is available for 550,- SEK per hour. Our “iceflea”s can be rented for 950,- SEK per hour incl. fuel.
The prices include hot coffee, in case of daily bookings (min. 6 hours) a small lunch, and the FIKA.
