How to get to Myrkulla

By plane

During the winter time there are direct flights from Hannover, Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt-Hahn to Arvidsjaur available. In approx. 2,5 hours Flycar will bring you to Lapland. During the rest of the year no direct flights are available in the moment, but will be in the near future. From many airports scheduled flights to Stockholm-Arlanda and from there by Nordica to Arvidsjaur are available.

There is also the possibilty to fly to Luleå which is the destination of several other airlines. From Luleå or Arvidsjaur it is recommended to continue by a previously rented car.

You can also fly to Skellefteå (via Stockholm). Of there far with a hired car approx. 180 km.

Taxis can be rented at the airport but due to the big distance to Myrkulla (approx 65 km) it will not be cheap.

If available a transfer can be arranged.

By car

The distance between the center of Arvidsjaur and Myrkulla is nearly 50 km. Take the E45 to the north (signed direction “Gällivare/Jokkmokk”). After 9 km turn left (follow the signs “Östansjö”). For your orientation there is an industrial estate („Träindustri“) on the right side shortly before the turn. This tared road changes over short after the test area on the left side to be a well constructed gravel road. Please follow this road. Directly after Östansjö turn right (follow the signs „Moskosel“). After further 3,5 km turn left. There are signs on the right side at this crossing showing „Myrkulla“ and „Brännholmen“. After another 3,2 km turn left to Myrkulla.
